Love the spunky queer vibe. Lots of food options. Coffee is great, with intriguing specials. Really dog friendly, inside and out. I would drive out if my way to come here.

Laid back local coffee shop, no pressure staff. Very friendly and pleasant to talk with. Coffee was fantastic. Great flavor with just the right amount of strength.

Stumbled upon this neighborhood coffee shop while on a drive to Olympic Mountains and it was good. Lots of place to study/remote work, parking is simple too. We bought 2 Caramel Lattes and grabbed the Granola bar. Both were good.

I got a cold brew coffee with some hazelnut and cream and it was delicious. This atmosphere is a big plus. I had a late start so pickings for a pastry or breakfast sandwich were slim. I will definitely come back and try something though.

they opened a month ago in here Eastside! walking distance fresh coffee smell makes me happy n feels good day begins. I stopped going to Starbucks because I have to drive! I prefer walking the neighborhood in the morning n grab a coffee! Blueberry corn maffin is delicious, recommend! the staff is really friendly, too. there r 7 tables n counter table seats. there is outside tables n chairs for especially dog lovers. I saw the water bawl outside. that is very thoughtful! All flat floor included a bathroom n entrance shows stroller friendly n wheelchair accessible. Parking: street parking.

TLDR: My love of this place has grown after a rocky start, and I choose to come here first now instead of go check the other place then walk here. Good flavor and variety, lots of space, advocacy in the form of papers and other peoples art... like a little co-op. When I first moved to the neighborhood last October 2024, I was so excited to try the coffee shop that was a 4 minute walk from my home. I walked in the door and was greeted by the awesome nerdy/retro/queer/psychedelic divebar style of the coffee shop. Pogie the dog said hello hello helloo! to me and I was very excited. I had done research before heading here and chose this place over the other coffee shop down the street because it was more my style. I was a little bummed because Justin (owner) was a little abrasive and off-putting... then the coffee wasn't really that good. But they have amazing treats! So I actively avoided this place for a long time because I was uneasy around Justin. Id started going to the other place and I enjoyed their coffee a lot more, but the vibe just... idk, It wasn't Lux. Everytime I'd try to go to Lux though, I would be disappointed... until a few months ago. The other place is too hot, too crowded and way too loud. Not enough treats or they're too dry.. biggest coffee is a 16 oz- I'm in college and work overnights, Im gonna need a little more than that. Ill poke my head in, turn around and walk down to Lux- where its not too hot, not too loud, theres plenty of plug ins for my old computer and the baristas are always so good to me. Even Justin is pleasant to talk to now, and Pogie makes sure I never have to bend down and pick up a crumb I dropped. The coffee has gotten so much better- it's not bitter to me anymore. Maybe that's just because I'm more of a coffee person now than I was when I moved here, but idk. Sometimes I'm the only person there and I get so much work done because I don't feel like people are waiting for me to finish so they can have my spot. I always have my favorite spot available, right next to the arcade game and close to the window without being right in the sun. My loyalty is to Lux now. I am grateful to Justin and the other baristas here who have taken care of me, or even just let me exist in their space.

This place is very nice. I have been here in the past, but I forgot to take pictures or write a review. This time I am doing both. The beauty of course is they are up the road from me. So I can walk there without it being a journey. The coffee is good. The atmosphere is great. The snacks are amazing..
